PTM Guitar Clubs are intended to add depth and variety to schools that do not have a music program, or that are interested in expanding their offering from well established bands and choir programs. Guitar is one of the most popular instruments in the world, and is heard in many music styles. We look to tap into that diversity, and play genres of music that reflect the students that participate.
PTM Guitar Clubs will meet after-school or before-school, and can have 4-24 students. The clubs are intended for beginners to intermediate players, and will develop concepts like musicality, technique, reading, and collaboration. Our repertoire and curriculum is designed to be flexible and incorporate a breadth of students.
Lessons, teachers and instruments (when able) will be provided to the school. The club will meet for two hours once a week, and each semester will end with a concert.
